AP LAWCET / APPGLCET 2025 — Counselling Overview

 What is AP LAWCET / APPGLCET?

AP LAWCET (Law Common Entrance Test) and APPGLCET are the state-level entrance tests for admission into LL.B and LL.M programmes in Andhra Pradesh. These exams are conducted by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati, on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education).

Through the counselling process, qualified candidates can secure seats in participating law colleges across the state.

Key Highlights & Notices (2025)

  • The schedule for web options, seat allotment, and self-reporting in colleges has been postponed. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official site for updates.

  • The schedule for Special Category (PH) candidates is also postponed; revised dates will be announced soon.

  • Certain law colleges (e.g. Rayalaseem, KMR, All Saints, Visakha Law College) have been included in counselling pursuant to court orders. However, these colleges currently lack approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI) and do not have affiliation from any AP State University.
